FutureRange are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Best Practices Auditor to join our dynamic team. The IT Best Practices Auditor is responsible for performing comprehensive audits of our customers’ IT environments to ensure they align with both industry best practices and FutureRange’s internal standards across various domains, including Office 365 (O365), Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Endpoints, Networking, Firewalls, and Policy & Procedure. This role is crucial in identifying areas for improvement, ensuring compliance, and providing recommendations that enhance the overall IT health of our clients. The IT Best Practices Auditor will work closely with the Account Manager to deliver consistent high-quality service and support to our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct IT Audits:

  • Perform thorough and detailed audits of customer IT environments, focusing on O365, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Endpoints, Networking, Firewalls, and Policy & Procedure.
  • Evaluate systems, processes, and policies to ensure they adhere to industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Identify gaps, risks, and areas of improvement, and document findings in detailed audit reports as well as updating relevant systems with this information.

2. Best Practices Assessment:

  • Provide recommendations to optimize IT infrastructure, enhance security, and improve overall IT efficiency.

3. Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the Account Manager to align audit objectives with customer needs and business goals.
  • Present audit findings, risks, and recommendations to the account manager.

4. Documentation & Policy Review

  • Review IT policies and procedures to ensure they are current and align with best practices.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends, security threats, and best practices.
  • Continuously improve audit methodologies and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the auditing process.

 

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MS-900, AZ-900, AZ-104) are highly desirable.

2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT Technical role in the Managed Service Provider space.

3. Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in O365, network security, endpoint management, firewalls, and IT infrastructure.
    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
    • Experience using RMM, IT Documentation and reporting tools with an emphasis on audit and compliance reporting.

4. Soft Skills:

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Proven Ability to explain complex IT language into easy to understand language
