Purpose of the Role
The AI Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions for clients, supporting the ‘Evolve’ phase of FutureRange’s AI strategy.
This role will translate client requirements into scalable, secure and commercially viable AI solutions, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure, cloud platforms and managed services capabilities. The role will also play a key part in pre-sales, solution design and delivery governance.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Lead the design and architecture of AI solutions aligned with client business objectives and operational requirements.
- Develop scalable, secure architectures integrating AI technologies with Microsoft 365, Azure and existing infrastructure.
- Define standards, frameworks and best practices for AI solution delivery.
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Engage directly with clients to understand business challenges, data landscapes and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear solution designs and outcome-driven architectures.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders.
Pre-Sales & Commercial Support
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, scoping and proposal development.
- Collaborate with Account Management teams to shape opportunities and position AI solutions effectively.
- Contribute to bids, presentations and technical workshops.
Delivery Oversight & Implementation
- Provide technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle of AI solutions.
- Work closely with engineers and consultants to ensure successful implementation and integration.
- Ensure solutions are delivered to a high standard, meeting performance, security and scalability requirements.
Governance, Security & Compliance
- Ensure AI solutions align with security, governance and regulatory requirements, including data protection and compliance frameworks.
- Embed best practice across data handling, access controls and AI usage governance.
- Work closely with cybersecurity and compliance teams to maintain a secure AI delivery model.
Innovation & Service Development
- Contribute to the development of repeatable AI solutions, accelerators and managed service offerings.
- Support the evolution of FutureRange’s AI services portfolio.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends.
Internal Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and support technical teams, building AI capability across the organisation.
- Collaborate with cloud, security and service delivery teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Contribute to internal standards, documentation and knowledge sharing.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in solution architecture within MSP, consultancy or enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Experience designing and delivering complex technical solutions across infrastructure, data and applications.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of AI, automation and data-driven technologies and their business applications.
- Knowledge of security, governance and compliance considerations in enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting pre-sales, proposals and client solution design.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
Candidate Profile
A commercially minded Solutions Architect with strong cloud and data experience who is interested in the practical application of AI in real-world business environments. The successful candidate will be confident working with clients, translating requirements into clear, scalable solutions and operating across both pre-sales and delivery.
They will be a strong communicator and collaborator, with a proactive mindset, curiosity for emerging technologies and a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes while supporting the growth of a modern, AI-driven service offering.
