Conack Construction Ltd is a leading building and civil engineering company based in Limerick. Their size and scope requires them to also have regional offices in Cork, Galway and Dublin. FutureRange have been collaborating with them since 2016. In this time, Conack Construction have grown rapidly from an organisation of 35 employees to one that now employs 200 people.
Our experts started with an extensive IT infrastructure audit, which resulted in some items needing to be addressed immediately. In line with company targets and objectives, our goal was to support the company through a period of challenging growth where a clear path forward had yet to be fully defined.
We wanted to offer our partners a proposal that would give them an IT infrastructure that was easy for them to maintain. However, it needed to also be agile enough to give them ability to quickly expand. To achieve this, we adopted popular and proven products from industry leaders such as Microsoft, HP, SonicWALL, ESET and Veeam.
Years of experience with these technologies meant we could deploy to industry best practice, with highly trained and extensively certified engineers across each product. Most importantly, all work was fully documented and standardised as a matter of course.
Finally, all laptops are now encrypted and standardised procedures for onboarding of staff were implemented. All IT issues are now logged using a centralised ticket management system. All devices are managed using Atera remote management client. And Microsoft Teams is now used for meetings between site managers.
Of course, to ensure the ongoing success of our solution, our experts continue to carry out test restores of the servers on a regular basis.

Their commitment to Conack was evident when Covid-19 caused so much disruption, we were in a great position to have our staff move to meetings online through Teams/Zoom etc. Laptops/PC were made ready in a very short period of time for staff to work from home with Future Range at the end of the phone at moments notice where required.
Having Future Range manage our IT systems gives us peace of mind to allow the business to continue to grow in a controlled manner so the teams in our offices can concentrate on the business to hand.
